It's Called a Micro Refresh
Because you deserve new socks too.
‘Tis the season of wardrobe refreshes but TBH reinventing yourself is like, really hard! So, if the idea of a full overhaul completely overwhelms you - you’re welcome in advance.
Here’s a list of low lift, high reward upgrades:
1. The underbelly
Not for the faint of heart but take an honest look at your underwear, socks, and bras. Check for stains, rips, or just general sadness and make a list of what needs replacing - then actually replace it. Extra points for organizing this drawer and yes, you deserve new socks too.
the everyday day sock (shorter) and the yves sock from Comme Si, Cuup’s balconette bra in Nude or this one (shown here in black) from Commando if you want a bit more support and mesh thong from Cuup (also love the highwaist, the tap and the thong)
2. Make your simple stuff sparkle
I tend to dress pretty simple and jewelry makes all the difference. Find those pieces that you want to wear with jeans and a tee and buy them (!) On my personal list is a silver hoop-with-charm situation, a good bracelet and a watch that I can’t afford.
(from top left) Dorsey gold diamond chain & Dorsey Lariat necklace (obsessed), silver cuff (2 left!), diamond gold huggies, another Dorsey hit - the gorgeous Delphine bracelet in silver, more gold huggies but at a fraction of the cost (could add a charm to these as well) and this mixed chain link bracelet which is simple but not boring
Other finds: lab grown diamond earrings that are a major (lifetime) investment, a tapered gold hoop, beaded emerald cut bracelet, and everything Sophie Buhai (studs, pearl necklace, pearl earrings and silver droplet earrings)
3. The house shoe
I firmly believe anyone who hangs out at home in jeans is a psychopath (my husband, first in line). I want to be comfortable when I’m home but also not feel like a slob. Enter: the house shoe, an elevated slipper that says “I woke up 4 hours ago.”
(from top to bottom) A.EMERY Spencer flat, brown suede, Rothy’s in dove
Other options: black suede mule, The Row Hudson (most sizes I’ve seen stocked here), chocolate suede moccasin slide, Common Projects suede and another great option from A.EMERY that has a slightly different vibe
4. Sleep, the ultimate refresh
A perfect excuse to buy new pajamas, upgrade to a proper alarm clock and splurge on a red light lamp. Whatever the small investment is that helps you get a better sleep, it’s totally, 100% worth it.
Luxe yet practical washable silk PJ’s (Cozyland is another great option, these are cute), silk eye mask, red light lamp, Hatch sound machine for grown up’s, Oura ring (my best friend swears by hers)
Et voilà - sometimes a refresh really is that simple!

This is the right kind of reset: fix the drawer you actually open. New socks, better bra, one elevated house shoe, and sleep gear you’ll use — that’s impact, not reinvention. Adding “underwear audit” to my calendar every 90 days.
